If anything is confusing let me know and I'll try to update this post. I recommend everyone with 80 GB to spare to give it a go. Anyway I like to fine tune the point of view coordinates. The latest NGPCarMenu plugin (not included yet with RallySimFans as of this writing, but compatible nevertheless) implements a FOV override option for all cars and a "disable camera shake" option, so 90% of the problem is solved if you install it. In game, I also edit cameras to my liking as every car seems to be slightly off in this regard (and I don't like default FOVs and shaky cameras either). Set this line to half the configured steering lock of your wheel so rotation matches visually (here configured for 540º). Unzip the misc.rbz file (opens like a zip file. "Stage surface help" shows the type of surface of a stage in the expanded stage selection menu: Notice that when you can select stages, cars, etc you can do so with the left and right arrows or pressing enter and selecting from a hierarchichal menu. In game (plugin options): Uncheck "Restore cars". I set the game to true fullscreen in hopes of better input lag but I don't know for sure. In plugins/FixUp.ini: Disabling vsync (I prefer the minimal screen tearing to input lag) and correspondingly setting "soundRefreshRate" as advised in FixUp Readme (I don't know why these don't come on by default). So far the only things I have configured after installation are: You can also fight online for the "daily stages" (See right panel on their home page). It has a nice "hotlap" mode, where you can fight for world record on every stage. Just uncheck Hungarian copilot in installation)įeature wise I guess it has surpassed the CZ plugin. (Page in Hungarian but software in English. o_O (the cars are downloaded transparently by the plugin itself, a big advantage over the CZ plugin). Some time ago I wouldn't have recommended it because you had to provide the base game and download the base mod and like 47 updates but recently they created this "Rallysimfans_installer" that downloads everything, including add-on tracks and even the base game (1.02 patched).
